MaryAnn Stack was the realtor for the recent sale of our Moorestown home. We interviewed several realtors and it was clear that MaryAnn had a unique command of the real estate market in our neighborhood and in Moorestown generally. During meetings in January and February, MaryAnn provided sound advice on some minor redecorating and staging that made our home more inviting for prospective buyers. She strongly recommended that we list the house quickly to ensure maximum access to the Spring 2017 market, and gave us good advice on setting our asking price based on a detailed analysis of comparable properties and the specific dynamics of the Laurel Creek villas. We followed her advice, listing in March, and got interest early on from the family who eventually purchased our property.
In early May we executed a sales agreement with the eventual buyers and agreed to their requested settlement date of June, though this timing felt tight. In talking with MaryAnn and our attorney, what transpired over the next several months until the eventual settlement on July 31 was “unique”. The buyers’ realtor was uncommunicative and relayed information infrequently….the buyers’ attorney behaved in similar fashion. Any communication that required a response from the buyers took an inordinate amount of time. The only thing that made this bearable was MaryAnn’s continued communication with us; even when there was little to report. She and her team were on top of all aspects of our transaction from the start, and she worked closely with us to ensure that any deliverables from our side were supplied on time and in full.
